Fortified Manhattan Sour Ale Aged in Canadian Whisky Barrels
A small batch series featuring different expressions of Bench sour ales aged and blended from this special barrel stock. These very same barrels are now back at Forty Creek, filled with whisky that is soaking in the new and unique flavours contained in the beer washed oak.
With notes of bright cherry, butterscotch and candied orange peel, this sour ale carries mellow acidity and a silky-smooth finish.
